I’ll start of with what has happened during the early spring. This winter have been the coldest in a long time. We have had lots of snow and spring was about a month later than usual.
I think this picture sums it up pretty well. And only a year ago I was living in the desert, not really desert but in Dubai city anyway.
This post should be about my growing of paprika, tamarind and some other things. I noticed that I only have some images of it all and my camera is on the loose, i.e I cant take any new pictures of it all in a couple of days. But this is how it all started.
My banana tree started to look grim and my conclusion where a lack of lights. I made this contraption of my tripod, two lampshades from IKEA and low energy lights in the correct colour spectrum. The lamps are 23W witch should be about 110W of normal bulbs.
These two images shows how I fastened the aluminium profile to the tripod using a small piece of plywood screwed on the camera shoe and then onto the aluminium. At the ends the cord for the lampshades goes through a hole and have a screw, washer and nut to hold it down.
It worked very well and I used this method for the second version, the one I cant find images of.
I will leave you with this image of a sad looking plant. I’ll come back to this one in a later post.
